Last week we went to the zoo with our dear German Oma.

Because it was a lesson day, there was a follow-up. The follow-up was a journal entry answering, “What can I learn about life from animals?”

Here is our Kelly Mae’s response:

For this journal I will write down three animals and what one can learn about life from that animal.

The next sentence is the beginning.

The Monkey: The monkey swings from brach to branch with grace. Live life with grace, go from branch to branch of my life with grace.

The Deer: The deer prances through the woods with happiness. Go through the woods with happiness.

The Lioness: The lioness is fierce with prey, but soft with her cubs. I should treat my family like the lioness treats her cubs.
