Because I am SO on the ball… Here is my menu plan for the week. And another fun, but slightly less going, week…

MONDAY
leftover venison stew in the crockpot because we’ll be visiting our capitol city for the day to learn about our local government in the mid-1800s, an escaped slave’s story, as well as visiting Andrew Johnson’s home, a historic mill, and a natural food store for rennet. BIG day!

TUESDAY
Garlic butter shrimp with heart shaped pasta, salad, yeast rolls…by candlelight, of course.

WEDNESDAY
Baked Spaghetti as date night is tonight rather than Tuesday.

THURSDAY
Whole chicken, potatoes, baked cabbage, green beans. An oven meal quick to prepare after a day at the Tuskegee Airmen exhibit at our Transportation Museum.

FRIDAY
Grilled cheese and leftover vegetable beef soup.

SATURDAY
Pizza made from only white flour (organic, unbleached) to make everyone happy. Tonight instead of Friday because, well, I was being philanthropic at a fancy schmancy blowing-smoke event on Friday.

SUNDAY
My classic BBQ and slaw with salad and rolls. Because the weekend should close nice and slow. And wholesome.
