Yesterday we drove to the mountains for the day. We packed a breakfast and a lunch and plenty of snacks with water bottles and even juice boxes. The excitement!
Even though I had a fever and nearly fainted once, I was thoroughly, immensely, insanely happy on this trip. Time outdoors with my family is what I truly love.
I know what a horrible picture of me that is, all pale and puffy from fever and cough. And I am OK with showing it, because this is life.
